COVID-19 has impacted the lives of many in and around Perry County, PA. As the situation continues to evolve, Czekaj Law, LLC wants to reassure our clients and the community that we are taking this situation seriously, and putting safety measures in place that prioritize the health and well-being of our clients and staff. We also want to ensure you get the answers and consummate legal guidance you expect.
As a firm, we are carefully monitoring and adhering to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Pennsylvania Department of Health, other government agency guidance, and staying abreast of any changes or updates.
Our attorney and staff have been advised on the practical measures to help stem the tide of COVID-19, including regular hand washing, the use of hand sanitizer, frequently disinfecting commonly touched areas, and social distancing whenever possible. This involves limited in-person meetings, phone conferences, and communicating via phone and e-mail.

We will be closed pursuant to Governor Tom Wolf’s order closing “non-life sustaining businesses” until further notice. However, we will continue to telework using any means necessary to ensure Clients’ needs are being met. Czekaj Law, LLChas the ability to fully access Client files remotely so as to continue to seamlessly service our clients.
Clients are encouraged to communicate via email and telephone. We will continue to be in touch with local courts regarding the status of hearings and court appearances and will communicate with each Client directly regarding their particular case.
Rest assured, we have access to all pending cases, are pursuing cases to the fullest extent possible, and are actively working to resolve every case favorably.

Clients should assume that any scheduled court appearance will continue as scheduled, unless specifically told otherwise by us. We will continue to monitor the daily changes in relevant county closings and procedures, and communicate them to clients on a case by case basis.
